NeuroTrack is built by two independent developers. The fastest way to reach us is by email — we usually reply within a few days. Please include your platform (iOS, Android, web) and a short description of what happened.
Frequently asked questions
- Where is my data stored?
- Entirely on your device. NeuroTrack has no server and no account system — uninstalling the app erases everything. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- How do I back up or move my data?
- Open Settings → Data → Export Data. You will get a JSON file you can store wherever you like. On a new device, install NeuroTrack and use Settings → Data → Import Data to restore.
- How do I delete everything?
- Settings → Data → Delete All Data. The action asks for confirmation and then wipes every NeuroTrack record from your device.
- A medication reminder did not fire. What happened?
- Reminders are delivered by your device's notification system. They can be suppressed by Focus / Do Not Disturb mode, low battery, force-stopping the app, or notifications being disabled at the OS level. NeuroTrack should not be your only reminder for safety-critical medication.
- Is NeuroTrack a medical device?
- No. NeuroTrack is a self-tracking tool, not a medical device. Nothing in the app is medical advice. See the Medical Disclaimer.
- Why is the app only for ages 18+?
- Some of the screeners and clinical references (PHQ-9, GAD-7, autonomic dysreflexia, pressure-injury staging) are designed for adult self-reporting. NeuroTrack does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
- Does the web app work the same as the mobile app?
- Mostly. The web build at app.neuro-track.com stores data in your browser's storage rather than in a native app sandbox. If you clear your browser's site data, your NeuroTrack data is erased. Hardware features (Face ID, on-device speech recognition) are mobile-only.
- How do I report a security issue?
- See the Security Policy. For anything sensitive, email access@neuro-track.com and we will route it appropriately.
- What happens to my data if NeuroTrack is discontinued?
- Because nothing is stored on a server, your data is unaffected. Exported JSON files remain readable by you. We will publish a notice at neuro-track.com if the app is sunset.
Known limitations
- NeuroTrack does not sync between devices. Use Export / Import to move data manually.
- Reminder delivery depends on the host OS — see the FAQ above.
- On iOS, the local database is excluded from iCloud backups by default. You can change this in OS settings if you want device-level backup of NeuroTrack data.
